    Default My son's first Springbok

    Back at work after a 4 day hunting trip to a very cold Beaufort-west. After all the practice and coaching, my 11 year old son got his first buck with a perfectly placed heart/lung shot at about 120m.We walked about 25-30km in the 4 days and saw a couple of nice big kudu bulls, but just couldn’t get in range for a shot. I got two Blesbok ewes, first head shot at 100m and the second heart/lung shot at 230m.
    We both used my 30-06. Ammo 132gr Peregrine VRG-4
