EDC Torch
I'm looking for some suggestions on a good, compact (pocket size) EDC torch. I had a LED Lenser i5E which I was happy with but unfortunately the battery leaked and fused with the inside of the torch. Before I buy another I would like to see what other options are available. Suggestions would be appreciated!

Re: EDC Torch
Olight and Fenix are my favourites. I have a 2AA torch of each brand. They are pretty much the most affordable high quality torches, with digital regulation, variable setttings and tough as nails durability.
Of course, you get far more expensive stuff, but in the sub R1000 category these are probably the best you're going to get.
EDIT
Just to add, I started the last sentence by referring to the sub R700 category, but then I looked at the current Rand/Dollar exchange rate and realized I'm probably living in the past.

Re: EDC Torch
Brand wise I would look at the offerings of Surefire , Elzetta or Streamlight.

Re: EDC Torch
Not sure how bad the battery leaked in your torch, but I managed to get a torch with similar issues working again some cutex remover and earbuds. Coincidentally also an Led Lenser.
For replacement, I would suggest a Nitecore MT2C.
