Looking at the constructed item I was wondering if the same concept can be applied on constructing a magnum Mauser magazine box/bottom metal I need to cast..if possible it will give me a more accurate version to make a cast with...any suggestions will be much appreciated...names of companies who can assist me in such a venture ...

    Regards

You then have a bent guide rod, and maybe also have a primer punch with a bent or broken seater.

The primer punch will fail to retract if it has accumulated powder in it [ from spillage ] , or small metal bits from mis-seated / damaged primers [ which is an indexing problem ].

This part breaking is a symptom of other operating parameters that are no longer optimal, and if it does not break, then you will snap the primer slide and the seating pin in the primer punch, which are more expensive to replace than that plastic piece.
The way the cylindrical part is attached to the flat part of the bracket is the weak point. That causes a stress concentration and is just asking to break.
A printed part will still be the weakest point imo, printed parts aren't as strong as the original.
If you look at the original bracket it was designed to save grains of plastic.
