Re: CFR Delays
My S13 renewal was approved on the 11th of March this year. Still waiting for the card, and from what I have read lately, might have to wait another 2 months. I was at the station today, and the officer there said that they have not received any cards for the past 3 weeks.

Re: CFR Delays
Ahh, lovely, so I'm probably in for the same wait. My lic was apparently approved 13/03 but no sign of a card yet.

Re: CFR Delays
My applications have been in for over 104 working days as per the SAPS system, and my Competency has been in Consideration since 12/03. Finally got hold of a Major today who said they have a backlog of over 2 000 apps and they will get to mine as soon as they can. Now just received an SMS that my License is receiving attention so called and found out that my Competency has FINALLY been approved. Any idea how long the next step in the process takes? I submitted Competency and License apps together through my DFO.

Re: CFR Delays
@Yanky1 Seems like the current average is about 6-7 months for a completely new app which includes competency and license.
Ride it out brother!

Re: CFR Delays
Contacted the CFR and they have advised that the License is in for consideration and I should allow for another 90 working days for this process. This surely can't be true???? Both License and Competency were submitted together in November.
