Bullet performance data base

a post earlier about the peregrine bullets popping out the skin backwards has got me thinking. This could be a fun way of proving theories, or just seeing results. seeing is believing. I'm always interested (and i'm sure a lot of you are as well) in seeing what difference velocity makes or bullet construction or this or that.... so why not start up a little data base with results.

Please post all your pictures and results found with the following information :

1 ) caliber
2 ) bullet make model and type and weight before and retention
3 ) velocity
4 ) Distance shot
5 ) Animal Shot

Cannot paste picturs now but the bullet didn't change form so it does not matter much.

1) 308 Win
2) 130gr Impala LWHV, 100%retention

5) Bluewildebeest bull; shot between the neck and shoulder while angling towards us; bullet penetrated heart, lung, liver, stomach and was found in the meat near the opposite hip bone.

5) Rooi hartebees cow.. my dad shot her standing broadside in the vital triangle. no major bones. and found the bullet under the skin on opposite side.

No blood was found only a 25 cal hole with a few drops of blood

6. Broadside shot, bullet hit on right shoulder, recovered under skin on left shoulder. No major bone hit. Eland ran 54m before going down.

6. Frontal shot, bullet entered above brisket and came to a stop against back leg femur. Impala ran 20mbefore going down.
