I would seriously try to figure out where it's going wrong. This kind of thing causes jams.
Slow motion photography might be a great help in figuring it out. Lots of modern cell phones have the ability to do this.

It’s a CZ 550 magnum action out of their custom shop. The “kink” doesn’t stop cycling but it leaves an impression on the meplat. I’m overseas for a while but when I’m reunited with my rifle next month I’ll take a photo of a cycled round.

143gr Hornady ELD-x recovered from a young eland bull.

Hornady Precision Hunter factory 6.5 PRC ammo.
    Muzzle velocity ±2920fps.
    Range ±250m.
Quartering away shot, entry in crease behind left shoulder, bullet recovered under skin in front of right shoulder.
    Eland ran ±30m before dropping.
    Recovered weight 76.5gr (53%)

This is neither the bullet nor the caliber I would recommend for hunting eland but the hunter using it is a very good marksman and an experienced hunter who was willing to pass up a shot unless he got an opportunity from an acceptable angle.
