That said, looks like an appealing option that will hopefully be more affordable for some.

There is one called the Girsan MC28 SAC the C standing for compact. I believe it fits the bill.

Looked at it, the grip still seems longer to me than the G19. Hard to get a good idea from the specs, would be nice to see a comparison photo.

Yes I believe they only shortened the barrel and slide on that model. Hmm.

Yes, the compact version has about 1" less barrel length, but the grip is the same.
3 Interchangeable backstraps, and all models imported by us have an ambi manual thumb safety as we felt this was what our target market preferred.
Currently we only have stock of the standard sized one, which is similar size to a G17.
Decent guns, and of course full warranty, and spares and mags are always available.
