Price on a LP gas block to fit a MP15 Sport?
Careful on the M&P Sport. The roll pins come out in the opposite direction to "standard" ar front sight post roll pins.

That coupled with being incredibly tough to get out. Paul (TacShac) and myself went to town with heat, hammers etc. they didn't budge Paul eventually got them pressed out cause they were so stubborn.

I had the same problem.. Battled for 2 days without the incorrect tools..

Was scared for damage so I went to Akmal at Dave Sheer Guns.. He sorted it out in 2 minutes.. Always good service from him and others there..

From what I've seen, a digital vernier is a good idea. Check the diameter of each pin 'head' to determine which one is the larger of the two. Once you've determined that, turn the rifle over and tap the pins out from the other side. I know this is likely easier said than done but not impossible and certainly better than cutting down the A2 to retain the gas block IMHO.

Cutting down the A2 is by far the best way, since a pinned gas block is the best way to have a secure and decent low profile gas block. I would choose that option every time.
However you do have to take it off to remove the barrel nut anyways, so the point is moot.

Picked this up Thursday and fitted to my Norinco last night. I already had a YHM low profile block. Only difficulty was clamping barrel to get the delta ring out.

Very nice Edwil!!! See... Even Norinco's can look sexy!!! I am seriously considering a rail as mentioned above with a "pig spitter" flash hider...

Here is my Norinco at present with the Samson Evolution rail..

What's wrong with your Samson? Rather keep it and spend money on other mods/ammo.

Replacing your A2 gas block, with a low profile quality gas block, you'll still have to secure the low profile gas block with bolts/pin. So IMHO as long as the seal is good, I don't forsee issues. But you have more experience with this than I do.
