Tucker Max's books can be childishly entertaining....Richard Lee's book on reloading is on my bedside at the moment...enjoying the remarks on his competition immensely...

Wading through Catch 22 by Joseph Heller. Avoid if you don't like satire.
The 13th valley by M del vechio I think, worth a read if you like Vietnam war reading.
Halfway through " The only thing worth dying for" Eric Blehm. Green berets in afganistan. It's a tough read but I hope I end up enjoying it.

Re: Read any good books lately?
Oh geeez....where to start:
Into Thin Air (I forget the author's name) : about the 1996 disaster on Everest where eight people died and why people shouldn't be where they did not naturally evolve to be. The book is fantastic though and a quick read.
The Ultimate Sniper - John Plaster : everything you ever wanted to know about snipers and were to afraid to ask. Fantastic treasure trove of information.
Fry the Brain (forget the author's name) : about urban sniping and the guerilla sniping (not massively impressed but still an interesting read.
On Shotguns and Shooting volumes 1, 2 and 3 Michael McIntosh : Fantastic books on shotguns and shooting shotguns. The author has a wonderful writing style (probably because he was a Professor of English).

Laughably I just read the new Dan Brown "Inferno". Actually a fun popcorn book. Interesting enough plot.
