Do I want the Maverick 88?
My dad is in the process of giving all the firearms that he did not renew licences for to my brother-in-law.
One of them is a Maverick 88 shotgun.
Unfortunately I’m no expert on shotguns and don’t know if it’s even worth having a tantrum over. Is it a good shotgun? Should I try and convince my dad to rather keep it until I can apply for a licence? Or should I be a kind hearted lady and let it go and buy another shotgun later when I start earning moolah?
I value your opinions, so that’s why I’m asking :;):

All the mavericks I have seen are solid serviceable guns.
Cattle die, kindred die, every man is mortal:
But I know one thing that never dies,
the glory of the great dead.

Throw-a-tantrum
Recent studies show that 1 out of every 3 liberals are just as dumb as the other 2

I think it's pretty much a Mossberg 500 budget edition, which is not necessarily a bad thing at all.

Yeah I'm pretty angry about that...
He's also giving him a .303 Lee Enfield (with bayonet and still in working condition)
I'm super upset about that one!
One more question:
Where can I store the shotgun until I can apply for a licence? Police station? Firearms dealer? How much does it roughly cost?

Dare your brother to a shootout..
Dad to supervise..
Who ever shoots the best with the specific firearm can have it...

Take the shotgun. Find a friendly dealer to store it. Will cost a bit but my experience with the brand has been positive.
