Default antique : Stephen Grant 22 Bore

    Hi Guys

I have been offered a Stephen Grant 22 Bore shotgun. The problem is that its part of a deceased estate. It seems to have been manufactured around 1895. What would your advice be onhow i can obtain the gun and licence it.I have the deceased licence,ID, death certificate.

Also have no idea what i should be paying for it. Any idea,

    Regards

What are you going to do with it? I doubt you will be able to get ammo for it.

unlikely toget ammo, but can be sourced with some effort. i dont want to use it. im thinking it may make a nice collectors item. not interested in the monetery value but more for its age, history ect.../

If you aren't a collector you will have difficulty licencing it. However the process is relatively straight forward. The executor of the estate signs the transfer forms (SAP271) in place of the owner.
