Hijackers caught after shootout - Benoni

Benoni hijacking President brand street 2015 -09-19 at about 18:30

Isuzu bakkie belonging to a resident of Fairlead Benoni was hijacked. At the time of the hijacking the Isuzu bakkie was driven by the employee , the driver was with his crew, the suspects took the cellphones Nokia,blackberry, IPhone and R500 cash.
The hijacked vehicle was later found abandoned at President Hofman street in Rynfield Benoni.
The owner was informed about the hijacking and he went to President Brand st. where he found his employees.
The owner tracked the IPhone and followed the phone to Pretoria road in Rynfield Benoni. They then spotted a red nissan Sentra with reg KNC 549GP.
The passenger from the red Sentra pointed a firearm at them. Owner then shot at the suspects injuring both of them. Both suspects were arrested, the three cellphones which were taken during the hijacking, firearm used during the hijacking was also recovered.. Well done to all involved.

Holy crap. Well, that, and the fact that the car was sandwiched between the Cruiser and a lamp pole. The car came off second.
I was thinking the other day what would happen if I took the bakkie to a BG's car... it also has this mean-ass bullbar that looks like it can wipe a grin off any smug face.

Kudos to the owner of the vehicle who did what was required, and staying alive and well in the process.
