Default NSA National Postal Competition 2015

It is almost time for the NSA National Postal Competition 2015!

This is my first year as a member of NSA and as you can see I am quite excited about this.

I have a Glock 19 Gen 4, so I will take part in Handgun, Standard Service Handgun (new), Enhanced Pro Service Handgun (new) and from this thread:
http://www.gunsite.co.za/forums/show...-the-G19-gen-4 it seems as if I can also do Box Gun.

Which categories are you taking part in and what FA's are you using?

I'm planning to take part in a few.
It would have been a bit more, but unfortunately I'm still waiting for those licences :(

For now I'm only doing Handgun and Rimfire with my P07 and a .22LR.

Nice! Will actually be able to compete this year. My licenses were like two weeks too late last year!

Will do the .22Hornet rifle and my 7.65mm pistol.

I see the enhanced service pistol is not available, so then it is just boxgun, handgun and standard service handgun for me. I'm still excited to get going.

Print the relevant target. Shoot it at an accredited/approved range. Have a witness sign it. Scan the target and upload it to your personal NSA webpage. They look at your target and approved it if all seems ok. Really quite easy to use and very nice if you don't have time for other sport shooting events or if you live in Putsonderwater where the fuck-all grows knee-high.

NSA and their competitions come in very handy for designated sportshooters when one works odd times and hours.

Ok. This differs from CTSASA. Where even if I shoot every single Saturday. And even 1000's of rounds a year for example. I will not be recognized as DSS. Unless I compete in approved competitions, which is the only time they take it into account for DSS status.

NSA then actually takes into account the fact that you are dedicated about the sport by shooting regularly.

NSA then actually takes into account the fact that you are dedicated about the sport by shooting regularly.
NSA also takes into account other shooting activities including: Competition NSA, Competition Other, Conference, Expo, Hunt, Target Practice, etc. Basically anything that proves that you are an active member of the shooting community (hunting or sport shooting) counts as activities and your activities counts towards getting DSS/DH. If you fire 1000's of rounds practicing for CTSASA, that counts as an activity and you can add that to your NSA profile. Thus you are dedicated by taking part in various activities and not just NSA sanctioned ones.
