License refusal on specious / fallacious reasons - apply again or appeal?

On the last part. Yes... totally. That would be the sort of person that specifically requires that public liability cover on his own policy. (Assuming said underwriter agrees to pay out )

Normal public liability policies normally exclude "use of fire arms" claims.

SAGA membership, for example, includes public liability cover on any official shooting range. I'm not sure what else they offer though...

OK, it is happening.

The applications that Annette drafted are currently being settled - the paperwork is quite substantial - one often "forget" just how complex the FCA and Regulations are, and what high level of compliance is expected from Joe Public. All the technicalities have to be explained in detail, as the judge may not be fully aware of all of that, and to allow for the CFR's counsel, who always seem to have great difficulty in understanding the legal requirements of exactly just what we have to go through, in order to be able to participate in our sport, or use our rifles for hunting, or to protect our lives.

There are four of these matters that are going on review. Well done to those girls and guys who are pushing through here, for the benefit of all of us.

The finalized court papers should find their way to the applicants, for perusal and signature, sometime during the course of this week.

Then it will be served on the Respondents, and then the dies will start running.

This process should bring finality to the issue of "semi - auto competencies", in particular, and also help to send a message and bring some lasting relief for the time being, regarding other refusals for irrational reasons.

First two review applications were served on the respondents early December. Four more to follow shortly. We expect a change of heart at CFR in the milling out of refusals for specious reasons. ;)
