    The 270gr Hornady interlock is a spitzer, Sierra doesn't make a 270gr.

The 270gr power shock is more of a round nose, correct Web?

    That is a federal bullet.

That is correct. It must then be a Federal product. Just like S&B make bullets of their own and use other manufacturers. Are these bullets any good?
Messor - I just presumed the Hornady would be a round nose like the 300gr PMP.

Hornady used to make a 270gr in both spitzer and round nose for many years. I've found the .375 Interlock round nose bullets in both 270 and 300 grain to be fairly fragile, a lot softer than the smaller (and larger) calibre Interlocks.

I used some in 180gr in the 308, worked extremely well.

In regards to your scenario, I suspect you will find they kill antelope extremely dead, very efficiently, but that they are not the best choice for charging buffalo.

But it's not the flavor of the times is it, these days people just want to shoot a hole trough an animal without caring how far it goes, or hope to point a magic bullet at an animal hoping to punch it down from whichever angle, instead of just shooting it in the correct place.

Yes Correct. A well placed 270gr Power Shok will certainly kill a Buff but I am in no danger of trying this anytime soon. I will stick to non-dangerous plains game as I get used to the 375. These federals will be just the ticket. Warthogs etc going to be my focus this weekend as I am in the E Cape for a quick trip.

Are they accurate in your rifle? I bought a few boxes when I got my 375 and they were pretty average in the accuracy department in my rifle. I tried the 300 grainers too, and accuracy was equally poor with them.
