They are very quick to disarm civilians regarding a complaint of aggression, threat or violent tendencies. So why should this same principle not apply to them as well? Any threat is a threat. If you are genuinely fearful, I don't think there is any other way.

Wow, that is hard-core. Sadly, as has been the case since forever, a few bad apples spoil and tarnish the reputation and integrity of many...

His police rank has clearly gone to his head.
He should read one of my childhood books.
Lot of pictures if he struggles as much as zumi.
Called Noddy gets a big Head.

    hahaha I have the DVD.

The culture of unaccountably and carder protection brings down the whole country.
I can't propose what you should do as you probably know better.

If this is the level of intimidation towards an respected professional how does Mabule treat the ordinary citizen? I bet that the definition of Civil Servant does not ring well with him...

Agree with the others Martin. The same laws and rules should govern everyone, right?

I would love to see him taken down but I am afraid he will be protected by cronyism.

How many times have we seen that the ANC think they are accountable to no one, their members have an absolute disregard for the country's laws, in fact they believe they are above it.

This is not good. There is clearly a renewed drive for a political agenda and Martin in person a marked thorn. With a political motive a solution through debate and reasonable communication will have little effect. Going into battle and court cases will propably lead to a even more negative outcome. Just by using the driving seat to delay the licensing process and stall in every possible way already has a huge effect on the procurement of private FA licenses and this game they can play. Not good at all.

I agree. He must be subject of the laws he is supposed to enforce. My concern is that if MH does not make the complaint, where then is the line drawn.

Thank you for your efforts and hard work

    Disclaimer : Totally uninformed comment.

I would escalate up the chain of command for the the complaint, with regards to the 102 if you truly believe the person is not competent to own a firearm then file it but do not do it as a point of leverage or our of spite and it will damage the legitimacy of the proceeding going forward,
