    No. With a permit you can store it in your safe, but you are not allowed to place it in the safe or remove it unless under the direct supervision of the license holder. No transporting on a storage permit, else it would be called a transport permit.

    No, unfortunately not. Storage only. Unless you have your mom with you when taking it to and fetching it from where you will be getting the job done.

    You can book it into a dealer in the meantime and get them to send for gunsmith work.

    Have not read the whole thread, just scanned here and there.

    For rusted "stuff" that don't want to turn loose or move like bolts and nuts etc there are a relatively new product in RSA that I buy from Bearing Man outlets. It is calles "Knockem Loose". Orange tin of penetrating oil. It is a seriously good product for the purpose. We use it a lot on farm implements with impressive results.
