Camo... well done... it's about time we start expounding on the logical and ethical basis of carrying SD firearms.
Haven't got to it yet, but I trust you mention the logical fallacy of false moral equivalency????"Always remember to pillage before you burn"

It's most certainly an inferred right.
A fundamental concept in law is that when a natural right is recognised - in this case the right to life and bodily security, as in our Bill of Rights - it naturally carries with it the right to enforce or realise that original right.
So, to give an example, the 'right to education' is useless without the provision of access to the means to acquire said education in the best (most efficient and effective) way possible. This is quite clearly recognised and understood by all. No argument.
Going back to our guaranteed right to life and bodily security... This is an empty promise without the means to effect. The State has claimed on numerous ocassions that they have no duty to provide individual protection and so the duty falls to the individual. If the individual is denied the means to defend their own life this is unconstitutional.
Based on this I believe a solid argument could be made that we do, in fact, have the right to bear arms in self defence (at least)."Always remember to pillage before you burn"

The reality IS:
We have to be licensed to own a F/a.
Somebody decides if we are worthy,,,,,
We have to wait ages for the licence to go through the system...
We then have to renew every 5 years....
The reality is that it is a privilege and its now becoming a lottery whether you will ever get your licences.Recent studies show that 1 out of every 3 liberals are just as dumb as the other 2
