Re: Group Buy, Round 2: Spyderco titanium clips by Casey Lynch
I got feedback from Casey, although once again, there's a delay. Seems he has problems building up sufficient stock of the black clips, so there is unfortunately still a wait.
As always, anyone wanting to get their deposit back is welcome to do so, as the payment to Casey has not yet been done. I'm only going to do the payment once Casey says I should, and I'll update this thread when that happens
Also, please note that the email address to use is changing to groupbuy@elverstone.com

Hi Ashley
Have you had any feedback from Casey? It has now been 8 months since the start of this thread and no light in the tunnel?
Is Casey ok?

Re: Group Buy, Round 2: Spyderco titanium clips by Casey Lynch
Casey's doing fine, although according to his email from last Thursday, he says he is running behind again, so while he expects to ship imminently, I can't say exactly when that might be. I'll update this thread as soon as the payment is done.
On the bright side, the Rand has improved over 10% since the original deposit calculation, so things may even work out cheaper than in the first group buy.

Re: Group Buy, Round 2: Spyderco titanium clips by Casey Lynch
Hey guys. I got an email from Casey, and unfortunately there's another delay of at least a month.
His day job is in construction, which is currently in the peak season, so he's being kept very busy there. He also mentioned he has a backlog of 1,200 parts (Not necessarily clips) that he's trying to catch up on, and that when he started to put our order together, he realised he was short on black clips again.
What I suspect happens is that he forgets about our order, and fills more recent orders he's received. I send him an email every few weeks to get an update, so when he remembers and tries to fill our order, he's out of stock of the black clips again and can't complete it. I think this is the third time this has happened now, and since he outsources the black cerakoting, he always has a fairly big delay on that.
I do realize people have received licenses from the CFR faster than this, so as always, if you want a refund on your deposit, please drop me an email.
