Norinco M4 Carbine clone
Read Big T's post about choosing one gun. One of the posts mentioned this m4 copy. I'd never heard of it. Normal questions from me re semi's. Can't we get it here? We are friends with the Chinese? Most of my readings re Norinco are unanimous. Badly finished, but with a bit of TLC you get a good reliable gun. This should be perfect for those of us who want to shoo a few 3-gun leagues a year.

No one is bringing Norinco in any more. I understand that that want to only deal in quantaties bigger than our Market can handle.
It would be great if someone could bring these in.

You'd think with them becoming a capitalist economy they'd relise that even a few sales is more sales and more profit. Pity...remember there products were always very aggressively priced.

They won't supply us.
For some reason, the Chinese have stopped firearms imports to SA. Yes, the quantities were high, and transport even more of a hassle, but once we got past all of that, the deal was killed by their govt. These were on the order, as were some other nice goodies.
Oh well..

Order thru Zim! Ol' Bob is great mates with the Chinese and seems to be getting lots of guns from them. Jay Zee in turn is great mates with Bob. See the connection???

There is some serious speculation that these are built on Norinco parts that have been refinished and cleaned up...maybe another avenue to SA sales rather than going thru Uncle Bobby?

Does the quality of these clones make them superior to owning, say, a Dashprod? Are they trading heavily on the M4 novelty?
