DAISY AVANTI 888 MEDALIST

I was handed a Daisy Avanti 888 over the week end. It in need of some repairs. I've tried to contact Daisy but to no avail.

Is there anybody who work on these little airrifles?

The only thing really wrong with it is the gas cylinder 's thread is slightly damaged and missing the O-ring seal. The tread on the rifle itself is apparently also damaged (I haven't stripped it down).
I contacted our local gunsmith who gave a number of a guy who specializes in airguns but he does not work on Daisy's.

I phoned Nicolas Yale and Sharp Edge without any success.

The owner of this gun earned his junior national colours with it and would really like to shoot it again. After school he left it in storage but somebody &*^^%$ around with it.

Who did you speak to at N.Yale? You should ask for Calvin and ask him but I think that spares will be a problem.
