www.tacqm.co.za Body Bags
www.tacticalquartermaster.co.za Body Bags
Perhaps a strange item for civilian to own or stock, however they are used by those who may be involved in corpse recovery such as volunteer rescue organisations such as the NSRI, Off-Road Rescue etc.
Made from durable 150 Micron Plastic with carry handles that can be adapted to be used as a stretcher if poles are inserted through them.
In the case where a crime is suspected the white background may show up evidence that is overlooked at a darkened crime scene.
The bags are essential for civilians who may be distant from coroner services and need to store the corpse in a dignified and hygienic manner until the authorities can deal with it.
At times the authorities may be overwhelmed in the event of pandemics and you are pretty much left to cope on your own.
However there are many other use for the bags:
- Storage & transportation of game carcasses’ at the end of the hunt.
- Storage of gear when hiking in the event of rain.
Sold in packs of 3 of Small, Large & XXL.

Re: www.tacqm.co.za Body Bags
I've also heard of some SF units using body bags as a type of lightweight bivvy (Think it might have been in an Andy McNab book...)

Re: www.tacqm.co.za Body Bags
I've spent many a wonderfully dry night sleeping in a body bag in the middle of a rainy season deluge.

Camo, Any idea what the weight of the bag is? Could be useful for what Paul mentioned. For Sas L3 it will definitely be considered depending on weight.

Re: www.tacqm.co.za Body Bags
No doubt it is an unpleasant business working with a corpse. Some seem to have a stomach for it and others not.
My brother told about a corpse recovery that they had to do when he was working with the NSRI.
The corpse had been in the water for about a day or so.
Unpleasant as it was, the use of a body bag makes it a lot more pleasant.Recent studies show that 1 out of every 3 liberals are just as dumb as the other 2
