Default Texecom 412 : your thoughts?

OK, I'm moving into a new place.
I need to install an alarm system.
I've read good things on both IDS and Paradox on the forum.
Little or no mention of Texecom.
What do you think of it?

    Thanks in advance.

I have no idea how it shapes up to be honest, but I do have one in my house, it was installed when I bought. The local security company I am with reckons its a good system, and they have been supporting it fully though.

I changed the Texecom PIR's to new Paradox pet friendly types, and changed the battery. So far so good, no issues as such.

I've got a Texecom 832. Full 32 zones in use, 3 partitions. Similar to 412. It's fine, it does what it needs to do. It's dated though (mine is, not sure about brand new version). I can't hook mine up to the internet and can't use an app or web interface to access the system.
If I went new now, I'd fork out more and go Paradox.

Been running a basic one for about 3 years. No issues and has been reliable. ADT and Londoloza in our area seem to support them without an issue
