    Default Delusion reaches new heights

You cant make stuff like this up. Tell the criminals not to carry guns, ask the parishioners to lock the door, ignore the huge French doors right next to the door shown in this picture and all will be well.

Spotted at St. Georges Church in Parktown.

.......... fortunately for me "no firearms" signs such as that carry no weight here. We have a specific list of places we can't carry, Federal building, airport terminals, courthouse etc.. If the proprietor of a private property open to the public asks you to leave you have to do so, however simply posting a "no firearms" sign carries no legal weight here in Florida.

Same here. Oh, and although courts are a alittle sticky about firearms, police stations, airport terminals, etc are all uncontrolled.

That's lame. I'm sure since it's a church the people won't dare disobey those signs.

The day I see the sign signed by God personally, I'll feel obliged to obey
Till then, I reckon the guy with the snubby in St George's Cathedral in Cape Town just about had it right

    Only a pity it wasn't a Glock!

My mother once acted sort-of-shocked when she realised I was dragging a 357 to church. I looked at her, and the penny dropped -- she realised I have a friend called Charl van Wyk :-)

[It was St James (Kenilworth area) not St George's in Cape Town BTW]

    Dear St. Georges congregation,

May I please point out the following:
The Bible, which you read, clearly states that Thou Shalt Not Kill and Thou Shalt not steal. Furthermore, it is aslo against the laws of the country.

How in your right mind, do you expect the LAWLESS DOGS do respect your sign when they aren't listining to God or the courts?

That being said, I might suggest googeling a chap by the name of Bonhoeffer. On of my favourite theologians.

I need one of those signs. Anybody contemplating robbing my humble abode will surely think twice about bringing their firearm in if they read the sign first!
