Recall: Honda, Nissan, Mazda

So I got an SMS just now saying that my car might be affected by a recall that Honda is having on some of their cars. Well, almost all of their cars, from 2002 to 2014 depending on the model. Worth checking, just to make sure. This affects Nissan and Mazda as well, apparently, but I cannot comment on that.

The issue is that the manufacturer of the explosive compound in the airbags, Tekata in Japan, got some of the stuff wet and stored it in a shitty manner, lost track of paperwork and that cause some nasty accidents in some cars. Hence, recall.

And yes, mine's affected. Form filled in, awaiting a date/time for them to replace the airbags in my car.

My missus got the SMS. Obviously everyone decided to hit the site simultaneously, as it crashed for a while.

Once back up, checked, hers needs to go in too
