Ignorance is bliss
Most people ooh and ahh not knowing that African rock pythons are a TOPS species and are afforded the same protection as Rhino.
It really grinds my gears how people can be so ignorant when the animal is not deemed "majestic".

I didn't know the African Rock Python was on the TOPS list, honestly. I love snakes, pythons are no exception, but knowing they're threatened saddens me. :(

Those dogs in the pic hint that they might have been hunting/poaching when they came across the serpent.
Quite a common activity in our part of KZN.
