Yeah I can remember way back when he started on Jacaranda people didn't really like him, so he proposed that they meet him at a shooting range and he'll provide the firearm (a revolver, but still) with ammo and a picture of him, and the people can shoot at his picture. Interesting guy, I remember he put the phone down on a person who spouted crap about him and his firearm in the beginning as well.

I do not listen to his show if I can avoid it, but I was part of a peaceful protest many, maaaanny moons ago that he was one of the instigators of. We protested / marched against the ban on Battery 9's music being played on Tuks FM. I believe I was the only gun owner in the protesting crowd at that stage... dressed in full police uniform... the good old days.
