Cold Steel knives
Hi
I bought my first Cold Steel Bushman fixed blade a year ago.
I have a lot of knives but when in the outdoor this is the one never left at home.
It is the Ultimate survival tool. Cut down trees, slash your way out of thick bush etc etc
Have a look on www.coldsteel.com and search "Bushman"
I will soon have some In stock

Looks hard working.
Pretty it is not.
I would rather get a Kukri knife. Now there is an ultimate survival tool. Blade is designed for two purposes. Bush whacking and food preparation. Plus a coolness factor of 10.

Maybe I'm just old fashioned. But when it comes to knives. Weight = strength. But besides that it's more momentum meaning less effort and more power generated when chopping down a tree.
But then again that might just be me.

Re: Cold Steel knives
Had my Bushman now for two weeks, works like a charm, feels flat in pocket, real workhorse.
I have bigger hands, can open it ok with one hand when need be. Nice huge flat folder.
Not my edc. Use it for everyday work and backup for other knives.
Also have mini jungle Khukuri, 8" blade, use this one when not in the city.
