Re: "combat worthy/ready" civvie AR's
Even a CQA could be combat worthy if it runs reliably. I rather have the cash to learn to use the chosen gun correctly than have an AR i cant afford to shoot.

Re: "combat worthy/ready" civvie AR's
Curious about the Daniel Defense "ammunition problems". I'm probably a long way off the highest round count through my V7LW but have only had one serious problem - a primer being blown to bits, some finding their way through the firing pin channel to lock up the bolt. It was the super hot Indian milsurp and that issue would have locked up the bolt on any AR out there. I've personally seen a CQA choke repeatedly just feeding the Indian milsurp. But then the CQA is supposedly not chambered 5.56.

Re: "combat worthy/ready" civvie AR's
Neither would I but there are some in this thread that said any AR available in South Africa is good to go. Well, for casual sport shooting maybe but not for the OP's question. And if you feed the CQA only 223 ammo it'll probably work fine enough for most of our needs. Still wouldn't trade my DDM4 V7LW for two CQA's.
