Who's carrying a G43? Impressions
Ok. So mine has a Taran Tactical +2 mag extender. Honestly initially I was a bit skeptical about it. I had been carrying a Grandpower GP1 which is kind of similar in size to a G19. What I have found immediately is that I sometimes have to check to see the G43 is on me, it's so unobtrusive. The +2 mag extension gives me a full grip on it. Shooting the gun at the range, I find that it is best shot instinctively. What I mean is that if you sit there trying to group the strings, you will be a bit disappointed, however the moment I just picked the gun up and shot quickly, it actually exceeded my expectations.
The trigger is not my favourite, has snappy recoil too, but even my wife has said she has got the hang of it. Amazingly though it grows on you quickly and it seems like this will become a dependable carry option. I have a spare mag in my pocket all day and I could easily even take two with me depending on my attire.
I've softened to Glock due to the ease that this pistol can fit into a daily carry routine. I wonder how many other fellow GS users are enjoying theirs and what are some of their experiences. 8+1 is not 15+1. It's a compromise of capacity, it's not perfect, but it's damn near close for me.Last edited by Skaaphaas; 29-06-2016 at 07:02.

Whose carrying a G43? Impressions
Love it. I used to a carry a Glock 23 and it became a safe queen due to laziness. Been carrying the 43 for 4 months now at the IAWB position. Anyone that knows me knows I'm not built for speed, and have a few extra kilos around the waist.
Doesn't come in the way and often need to check if it's on me. Same when driving.

Re: Whose carrying a G43? Impressions
I love it. I don't carry the G22 nor G19 anymore, even when I go hunting/road trips and even now in winter
it's just so easy to EDC....any situation/dress code....etc
with remora holster, it's secure enough to run around even just with jocks or board shorts only.
TTI +2 is a must.
I always have spare mag/s on me and/or close by.
I bought the G43 2kg connector last week....will be going to the range for fitting/testing soon.

Love mine too. Much easier to hide in my restrictive work environment. My G19 has become my "weekend carry gun". I miss the capacity of the G19 during the work week though.
My G43 has a TTI +1 extension on the magazine in the firearm and I carry two extra TTI +2 magazines. Fitted a Ghost trigger connector - the G43 certainly doesn't have a nice stock trigger. Subjectively I'd say it is worse than other stock Glock triggers. Cheap to upgrade though.
I see a lot of us have TTI magazine extensions. How are you guys finding the reliability? Read some not so positive reports from the US related to the first TTI extensions not coming with increased length springs. I haven't had issues in range testing yet but it keeps bugging me.

Re: Whose carrying a G43? Impressions
My Glock 19 has also been relegated to safe duty for edc during the week. A few members have seen and shot my Glock 43, and have posted some awesome groupings!
My current setup is as follows-
Mepro Sights
Ghost Edge Connector
Ghost Complete Spring Kit
Carries on a Remora in the AIWB position (it disappears!)
Still to install-
Extended Slide Stop
Talon Rubberised Grip

marshy reminded me that I also have an extended slide stop fitted. Sights on mine are 3% Engineering Worx with a green fibre. I carry in a Sticky Holster.

Make sure you are thoroughly testing those mags with extensions fitted with your carry Ammo.
