"Mixed Headstamp, De-Primed, Tumbled, Push Through Resized
....Once Fired, can't verify but it is good stuff "
Above from a reputable dealer, so I decide I'll try save some time & buy a "sample" of 200. - (R185 per 200 for 9mmP brass)
So in the unlucky packet:
208 cases
1x Still Primed Berdan
1x 9mmS
48x Berdan punched to "converted"
1x cannelure crimp
14x S&B NX brass with ridge in primer pocket
and another damaged Primer hole e.g.
Obviously my view on what is considered good stuff differs.

Re: "Mixed Headstamp, De-Primed, Tumbled, Push Through Resized
Looks like that brass was pushed through a machine. I've seen similar cases before. Bought a few thousand of them for very cheap as well (IIRC it was around 60c per case), but I ended up tossing a lot of them as well. Those "converted" cases work, but the primers don't sit as solidly in the pockets, specially once cleaned. This is why the cases I'm selling now are individually inspected and checked before sending off.

Ja I bought 500 from someone and the primer pockets were in bad shap, all like those NX brass. Used a primer pocket cutter and so far no trouble with any of them. I did break a few decapping pins while depriming them though.

Re: "Mixed Headstamp, De-Primed, Tumbled, Push Through Resized
I've had primers fall out of "converted" casings, spilling powder everywhere inside my pistol. since then I simply toss em like I would normal berdan casings.
I can only assume the primers fell out inside the mag or something.

Eish! Once-fired my arse!
Interesting thing about that S&B NX brass. Almost every single NX case that I ever picked up had its flash hole deformed like those in your pictures. As a general rule, I just chuck them whenever I see them. Not even mentioning Berdan/"converted" brass...

I used to have a bucket full of S&B NX headstamped brass that just stood there. I bought a primer pocket uniformer and a flashhole deburring tool and now have about 1000 really once fired "match grade" cases. Anyone who doesn't want theirs can gladly donate them to me.

Most primers wont sit in a berdan case.
Crap of them to sell it.
Make a quick buck, and loose customers for life.

Thanks guys. Happened to me as well. Bought them as boxer primed and them the primers fell out, while I was still reloading. Have quite a lot of them put aside.
