Default Semi automatic shotgun endorsement NSA wingshooting

I know that NSA have sections for shotguns in sportshooting, maybe even hunting. What I'd like to know is how do you license a semi-automatic shotgun through them?

We do issue endorsements for semi-auto shotguns for purposes of wingshooting only.

Is wingshooting under their sport or hunting dedicated status and what do NSA want from you if you apply for a semi-auto shotgun endorsement?

Wingshooting implies hunting. No idea what they need to endorse for that, but also can't see why you can't ask them for an endorsement for a semi-auto shotgun for clay shooting.

It's not common, but some guys DO use semi's for clays.

NHSA now has falling plate target exercise for shotguns, semi and pump. 10 falling plates, shoot 5 reload shoot next 5 against time minus penalties. Check NHSA website.

I got an endorsement for a semi-auto 18" barrel shottie for their clay exercises. The new falling plate exercises are better suited for this type of endorsement imho.

No additional info required as whats on the electronic submission form for endorsements. They do however require a draft of your motivation as with all other types of endorsements.

Hi guys.. thread revival. Has anyone licenced a semiautomatic shotgun with a Natshoot endorsement recently. The shotgun exercises don't seem to have time penalties so I can see an issue there?

I did one about a year ago. Picked the gun up a month ago.

Best I can remember I just said I will use it in this ____________ exercise. I don't fully understand the time penalty Q.
