Re: www.animalgear.co.za - Anyone used these guys?
Had a mix experience, they listed a bullet mold on their website as in stock, but they do note to call first to confirm availability. Called, and the mold was actually NOT in stock but available from overseas suppliers which might take 2 to 9 months to source.
So call first it seems.

Re: www.animalgear.co.za - Anyone used these guys?
Reviving an old(er) thread. Has anybody recently dealt with the folk from Animal Gear?
I am looking to place an order (and have called them to check that they have stock of the item which I want, which they apparently do), but just wanted to check on GS first.
Any and all (recent) input would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

I always see they advertise great products at good prices on their well structured and neat website. I phone and email enquiring about stock and never get an answered call or email reply. Last time I tried was November 2020.

Re: www.animalgear.co.za - Anyone used these guys?
Ok, I have decided that it would be safer to order the item via Takealot, even though Animal Gear is the company which will be fulfilling the order. My thinking re this was due to the fact that (a) Takealot is a larger, far more reputable and financially secure company; (b) my come-back would be to Takealot (and not to a smaller company like AG); and (c) I have previously ordered goods from Takealot and they have always delivered the goods, as described, and on the delivery date they promised (if not before).
I know that the goods are in stock with AG, whereas they are showing as "delivery in 7-9 business days" on TA's website. As such, I have now sent an email to the sales guy at AG and have asked him to ship the item (which he confirmed to me they had in stock) to TA, for onward delivery to me ASAP.
I will let the other members of GS know how this transaction progresses....

Re: www.animalgear.co.za - Anyone used these guys?
Quick update...
Even though I personally called and spoke to the guy at AG, when I placed the order with TA, AG seemed to take almost 8 days to ship the item to TA.
Anyway, long story short, I eventually got the item from TA (fulfilled to them by AG).
