casting Lee 12G slugs

I use a load all with MS200. Using the 155 bush i get 1080fps with 29g of #8shot. This cycles my benelli and makes it real fun with almost no recoil.
I will load the same with the 1oz slugs and see what i get.

Stan I use MS200 Stay with the 163 bush 171 hurts bad with a 7/8 slug tried it now. EINA . Grouping is about the size of a pack of 30 cigarettes at 50m deadrest. Shotgun is a Franchi pump with bead sight only

Ok tested my slugs using the 163 bush of MS200 powder. At 50m they dont group and i think i know why. the plastic wad tends to get pushed into the 2 hollows either side of the Lee rib and I am sure it could get stuck there resulting in irrregular groupings. Maybe a change of wad could help or putting a cardboard disc below the slug?

I use lead from wheelweights and radiator fillings and I just melt them and heat up the mould. Got some "duds' the first time but they go OK. Shot a Rabbit at 90 yards.
