See you are catering for novices, perhaps let the guys know what a steel challenge is and what it entails?

Short description - The Steel Challenge is a set of 8 standard shoots. Each shoot consists of 5 Steel Plates. You shoot each shoot 5 times and your best four times are kept and totaled up. The winner is the person with the shortest overall time.

For "Non-novices" 9mm is minimum calibre. Novices bring whatever. Novices will start with firearm at 45 degrees.

Because we are catering for "Novices" we are going to be shooting only non-movement shoots this time.

Hi, I would really, really like to take part. When you say open to all, do you mean anyone off the street? What time does it start? What equipment do you need, shooting glasses, muffs? Do you reload in the steel challange? Will you need a mag pouch? Sorry 'bout all the questions. Where can I get more info?

See me in the Novice class........

I am going to answer all the questions at once:

Round count is not 125 but 150, We are not putting up the non-movement stages this time because of the Novices and maybe a time restriction on what time we finish. So it will be 6 of the 8 stages.

Bring Shooting glasses, muffs, ammo (lots!!), You should not have to reload, but &^%$ happens!! - so have a mag pouch.

Cecil Payne is next to the SPCA or Sparrow Village in Roodepooort. I am going there tomorrow so I will get the GPS Co-ordinates and post them.

PM me for more info if you need.
