I donated over the weekend. Gents, even if it's just R50, anything counts!

As above, the SMS option is not a worthwhile option. The overheads on it is simply way too much. The transaction fees on these things don't make it worthwhile for such a small amount. If it's a big national thing (which this should be), then it is worthwhile given the administration of the EFT process.

I don't have any expired licences, but I did my part and donated some money over the weekend.

We're about a third of the way to the total we pledged to support Dealers Association with.

We need to spread the net as wide as possible so we aren't knocking on the same doors over and cover.

    PayPal makes it SOOOOO easy.

OK... so... news from the North Gauteng High Court.

Dealers' application has been postponed for consideration of potential consolidation with the SA Hunters matter next year.

That means GOSA has to activate 'Plan B' (general rule of thumb... ALWAYS have a Plan B).

We... firearm owners... MUST have resolution to this issue, and we must have resolution as soon as possible. Waiting until sometime next year is just not an option for hundreds of thousands of firearm owners who have been placed in technically illegal possession of their own property, neither is it a viable option for almost every gunshop who has taken in expired-licence firearms on faith and to try to assist the public and the SAPS.

GOSA, through their lawyers at the Foundation for the Defence of Democracy, will be announcing a legal remedy to this situation imminently. Please keep the funds flowing. NOW, more than before, we REALLY need them!
