Admittedly, this was with an H1 buffer, which is way too light for this kind of velocity.

Am going to experiment with H2/H3 and also considering adjustable gas block, but first want to see what I can achieve without that, if possible.

Going forward, I wouldn't be shooting many of the 110's, purely to be kind to my rifle - it might be intended for more of SD application.

Looking at the targets, the Vmax seemed to handle my 1:7 twist rate at that velocity, which pleased me, considering the shortness of the bore-riding portion.
    Ahh, similar load to me.

    I'm 20gr at 52.10 COL.

Depending on how the gun is gassed 110gr should be fine, but all the 300blk's i've shot have been very much over gassed with Supers especially once you start upping the velocity. Which is kind of an annoyance as the whole idea of the 300blk is the versatility.

That said my DD barrel is even over gassed with an H3 buffer, so I went ahead and ordered a Vltor A5 H2 Buffer and Receiver Extension, along with an adjustable gas block. Just waiting for it to be shipped over here.

My gun locks back with a 220gr Sierra and 5.5gr Lil Gun, didn't chrony the load though was just testing how low I could drop the charge and still get it to lock back... stopped at 5.5gr cause I was chicken.

    EDIT:

I have found the Hornady 110gr to be the most accurate bullet out my gun, I do have some Barnes to test accuracy with too, but from my reading they are much of a muchness.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a receiver extension (used for) ?

You must have a large gas port - sorry, I meant your rifle ;-) I'd be very interested to know what velocity that was!

I could not get BHO even with 8.2 grns of Lil Gun pushing a 220 grn PC'd NOE cast bullet (about 1090 FPS)

This is one of the reasons I am loving N120.

Does this mean more suppressor options available in this country soon?

Maybe... but have you seen how much US made suppressors cost? If you think 10k for an ASE is eye watering, just wait until you see how much a Surefire would set you back.

I did a little math, I don't want to share it cause it is soul shattering.

EDIT: I forgot to add that suppressors still fall under ITAR, so there is still a $200 fee to consider too...
