Just because they can doesn't mean they shoot.

Been slowly finishing up my Franken 300blk "Build"

It's almost there now parts list:

Aero Precision Upper, DD 10.3" Barrel, Brownells TiN BCG, Primary Arms 10" Rail, Troy Fixed Front Sight, Magpul Mbus Rear, Superlative Arms Adustable Gas Block, Radian Charging Handle, VG6 Gamma 300blk Muzzle Brake, VG6 Cage Device

Aero Precision Lower M4E1, Noveske 60deg Safety Selectors, Noveske Takedown Pins, Magpul Extended Magazine Release, Larue Tactical MBT2-S Trigger, Vltor A5H0 Buffer, Vltor A5 Reciever Extension, BCM End Plate, BCM Stock, Reptilia Pistol Grip, Strike Industries Polymer Dust Cover, Strike Industries Forward Assist, BCM Bolt Catch & Springs / Detents

Holosun 403GU (Discontinued a few years ago, this optic is 7 years old now) will probably replace it with an Aimpoint at some stage
Magazines, exclusively use Lacer AWM magazines in this gun

Still to do: Modlite Weapon Mount Light, and a Decent suppressor maybe ASE Ultra.

I've also put the last few things for this gun on the back burner, as I have a few other projects on the go that I still need to complete (i.e. my Norinco 1911 9mm, nicknamed the Datsun GTR, POF MP5 a build like no other in SA, Saiga 12 IPSC Build... oh, and a 6mm ARC AR15 project that I've just started... so yeah too many toys not enough money and or time.

Tell us more about what ammo the Blackout bende have been shooting?

    - Factory ammo?

    - Reloads with factory bullets?

    - Casting and coating?

I have shot around 100 rounds of Hornady 110gr V-Max Factory ammo, and about 50 rounds S&B 125gr (I think) Factory ammo.

Shot around 1000 rounds of 143gr PMP FMJ Reloads, and a variety of different tinkering bullets from Lehigh 78gr CQB and Barnes 110gr TTSX to 220gr Sierra Matchkings.

I've shot around 100 rounds of subs using 220gr Lee Cast Bullet powder coated. Mostly in adjusting my gas block, as I don't find them accurate because from the standard mold they drop a bit undersize, think right on .308 some .309. I'm not sure if this has been rectified in newer molds.

Still haven't even gotten around to coating and sizing those bullets you sent me.

I hear Silver Rapids is busy with an 150ish gr bullet for the AK, which i would like to get my hands on some when they released to see if I can size them down to .310 and run them in the blackout.

Still hoping for a really cheap 110gr - 125gr bullet, as they shoot really nicely in the blackout. Doubt it will happen though.
