Re: Another farm murder - 4 victims of same family killed
Seen on the news this morning. One of the attackers were apparently a worker or previous employee on the farm. That is why they ''have'' to kill. In order not to be identified. My opinion anyway.

Jeepers! Those poor kids have been ripped from their roots.
Glad to see that there are forensics on scene.
It's actually beyond my comprehension what needs to be done to curtail this type of crime...
I reckon no amount of policing, tougher jail terms, death sentences, etc will get these guys to change their ways.
As a society, we are broken. RIP

It is just my personal opinion, but the death sentence might help in our country, even if it can be statistically proven to not be a deterant.
Secondly, people need to take more care of their personal safety. Then in this case, how must you know your own worker will do this if he approach you on the farm he has been working on for a certain time. Farmers cannot give instructions to their workers through locked doors.
What a terrible situation.

Re: Another farm murder - 4 victims of same family killed
PcFanatic - fully agree re the death penalty, but I am an "eye for an eye" kind of guy.
i am fortunate enough to live on a "small holding" within a secure estate; but every morning I go out to work and greet my 2 grooms as I go past; and as per their routine they always have some sharp implement in their hands that could cause serious harm - spade , pick, garden fork.
Now I like to think that I treat my staff with great respect, and go out of my way to help where I can; but you never know. My wife says I am a little paranoid, but a friend/ neighbour was attacked a while ago by her gardener with a hammer, that put her in ICU.
Point being as you mentioned - imagine this situation on a farm where the numbers are larger; the likelihood for discontent greater; and the implements a lot sharper...
Its like a lose lose lose all round for the victim.
