Re: Puma White hunter - Puma Lovers?
WOW! Thanx EEOBHP! I had NO IDEA that it might be this old!!! I was given the knife when I was still a youngster, I have had it for 30+ years already! I think I will have to get this blade cleaned up and put away, and use one of my others!!!!

Nothing but a pleasure! Slight oil clean on the blade and some dubbin for the sheath when it needs it, also baby oil for the stag scales work wonders to keep them from shrinking and cracking. However I advise against removing any patina on the blade itself, as it will influence value. Puma's are knives for a lifetime!

No dubbin please - it plays havoc with the stitching over time. Get Wyn's lanolin based leather food from the supermarket and use sparingly. Good for all leather profucts.

Re: Puma White hunter - Puma Lovers?
Thank you for the tip Peter, I always welcome advice from more experienced members, only way you can learn the long term right way I am new to the Puma club, so taking care of the knife is a priority for me at this stage.
Anyone else have some nice Puma blades to show off?
