I use this Victorinox multi tool oil I found at sharp edge (it was like 80 bucks), it's food safe, has a nice fine tip to get into the pivot and nice small bottle to carry in an EDC kit.

I really wouldnt reccomend disassembly, everything is under tension. I have had trouble with the pivot before where I managed to get sea sand in it. I just loosened the pivot enough and sprayed WD40 until it was dripping, then rinsed with soap and water. I repeated this process until it was smooth and re oiled with food safe oil.

Hope this helps!
Thanks.
