Re: Dashprod Shotgun Owners Thread
Advice please:
Tomorrow is round 1 at the range to do some load testing.
I did a complete strip down and clean last night.
I loaded some dummy rounds to test the cycling. The magazine is proving very hard to load as I think the magazine spring may be too stiff?
As far as I know this is the original factory spring, but has anyone had to cut theirs down to make loading easier?
Also the carrier plate spring seems to be overly powerful and it is really hard to push the carrier plate down when loading.
Any advice on either of these issues please!

Re: Dashprod Shotgun Owners Thread
Okay, day one at the range was a great success. Really happy with this s/g!
Cycles 32gr very well, absolutely no issues. Also shot a few boxes of slugs. Minor adjustment to the rear sight and 100% on target.
Had mixed results with 28gr. It did not like the Kuvhima and had mostly FTE. Tried African Buckshot make, also in 28gr, and perfect results... So goes to show different Ammo cycles differently. Will try the 28Kuvhima again later after the action has loosened up & see.
All in all, extremely happy! Now my biggest problem is finding cheap food for this hungry machine...

Re: Dashprod Shotgun Owners Thread
SA Hunt invited out SADPA club to do some clay shooting today, I took my SAR SA with the cylinder choke installed. It was my first time doing this and it was a lot of fun, I actually missed very few clays except for the part where they throw 2, there I was totally screwed. My SAR held up very well, cycled perfectly. Loving it more and more.
