What is the design concept behind that?

Re: Hera Arms CQR review anyone?
Interwebs seems split on this. But one review is quite critical of the build quality. Anyhow just wondered if anyone had tried one locally.

Re: Hera Arms CQR review anyone?
I like the Sci-fi look of it, reminiscent of some Manga/Anime style guns. But except for offering a fixed stock thumbhole for some jurisdictions in the USA which ban collapsible stocks and pistol grips I don't see the point.

Re: Hera Arms CQR review anyone?
That is why I will be getting at least 2 of these. One each for my LMT AR-15 and Bushmaster AR-10, the Stag/Mega Arms varmint AR-15 has an LMT DMR stock that requires a tool to move so I think it's okay. Don't know about the three as yet unbuilt out lowers....probably Strike Industries Megafin grips and Aimsports Featureless AK grip for the RAS-47.
They all suck dog balls. But what can you do? I don't want to register. Or maybe I build out one very basic AR-15 and register that to keep 'em satisfied. Dunno?

Doesn't the Peoples Repiblik of Kommiefornia prohibit thumbhole?
I do prefer our laws to some US ones. I'm amazed that the obvious work arounds are obviously work arounds yet they don't seem to be prohibiting them (yet).

Kayback.....The Hera's we get here have the thumbhole covered up. It's removable but is in place to be compliant.
