Re: revolver grips - where Llama Super Comanche
In my limited experience I have found them to be well made. Some parts are not hardened properly leading to accelerated wear. On one particular well-used specimen (Commanche) belonging to a friend the firing pin bushing is very worn and the pin alignment is erratic. Probably not difficult to fix.

They made them like that and when I bought my Super Comanche I had a spares and springs kit.
The fix is not impossible and any gunsmith will get it back and running.live out your imagination , not your history.

Re: revolver grips - where Llama Super Comanche
I am having difficulty posting pics recently.
The model 29 does not fit the Super Comanche.
The SC has a taper. The 29 is smaller on external dims.
The SC has a built in Tyler grip profile . If this is extended it leaves very little room for fingers in that area.
Can it be made to fit? Yes with a bit of work with wood tools . If one is going this route then a set of 1911 grips can be made to fit.
I have many 44 s ( Rugers, Colt, SAW, Taurus) the Llama SC has an extremely comfortable grip ex factory .
I made a set of wooden grips for my SW K38. With thumb rest, finger grooves and palm swells. Ugly as shit but comfortable and functional. Easier than i thought, but patience is required. You can make your own .
It annoys me no end when someone can state so fucking confidently something that is incorrect.
Minor differences one may say...
One percent , just one percent , only one percent is the difference in the genetic sequence of a human and a chimp.
But that's okay , it's a small diff.
Treeman give me a call and will tell you how to do it.
Now i have to pack all these fucking revolvers back !live out your imagination , not your history.

KK, I never intended to mislead in any way.
My sincere apologies in this regard for having annoyed you.
This has reaffirmed to me the saying that the more one knows the more one realises how little one knows. I shall read more and post less.
As to your having to pack back all those lovely revolvers, my offer still stands to take them off your hands.
(To the fellow forumites: my offer to KK is a joke between him and me ; please don't understand that he is selling.)
