Guys, can you get a G17L in a compensated version?

Why on earth would you want one?

Whilst I cannot comment on the 17L specifically, my 23C was (almost) the worst atrocity I ever perpetrated upon myself! Possibly the best thing I ever did was to import a replacement, uncompensated barrel!

As far as the compensated barrel is concerned, I really did not experience that it reduced muzzle lift significantly at all. What I did experience was that it caused the gun to twist in my grip, so that realigning on target was more, not less, difficult. In addition you cannot shoot IDPA with it (I don't know about IPSC, but suspect you might need to shoot it in one of the Star-Wars categories), and the muzzle flash through the port means that you cannot even thiink of shooting it at night (unless you are a Ninja warrior who can devine the position of your enemy through their foul energetic vibrations).

Also do not ignore the fact that if you ever were to fire it without ear protection you will have blood coming out of them.

Guys, I respect you comments and thank you for them but remember I am a Glock FANATIC.
I have a few projects and this particular one is to build an IPSC Open gun. The G17, due to its 6" barrel will give the gun very good accuracy at medium distances. As open division does not require the gun to fit into a box, why would I choose a G34 when the 17L has a length advantage. Additionally open division welcomes compensated models. On a long gun with the correct load I have a very good suspicion that the 17L compensated will perform very well..............My personal opinion is that he 23C is too short to compensate.

The only apprehension I have is the trigger pull.

Does anyone know who is SA can do a good Glock trigger job???? ( I have a few that I would like to have done.)
