That would probably work better.
Wouldn't have to do all 4 corners. Just two diagonally from each other

If you cant weld you can buy 40mm PVC pipe and fittings. To top piece lifts off leaving the base, which when correctly glued folds up flat. I needed to add ropes to the top and with 4 tent pegs as stable as anything.

I haven't welded since my varsity days, not having a welder doesn't (wife saw through my suggestions that we need one).
I went the pvc route. Cheap and very easy. Plans on the internet. It's also easy to add ballast in the form of sand.
