Well that was my sort of idea towards getting one. Training and practicing before getting the real thing.

Carrying an airsoft can cause bad guys to believe that you are actually armed. This could lead to you being dead.

They are useful training tools. But SHOULD NEVER be carried in public in the manner of a real firearm.

I think an airsoft glock is a good idea for practice because even a real glock feels and looks a bit like a toy especially when you dry fire it.

I got my KSC G19 from WolverineQTG. Best as always is to shop around before you buy.

The weight and feel of the KSC G19 is great. It even fieldstrips like a real Glock. It fits (most) of my holsters, the mags fit in my mag holders and the tactical light fits on the rail. The blowback is cool, but obviously can never compare with recoil.

    Get eye protection.
Get 2 mags to practice reloads.
The adapter to use Propane canisters is worth getting.
Get packets of cheap baloons from the toystore for reactive targets.

you can also try http://www.wolverineqtg.com/ from this sight as well.

They are extremely realistic in the operation , weight and feel.

as i hear SwatG also uses them for certain training drills.
