    Default Edgepro apex sharpening system

    Hi guys
Don't know if any of you have seen this system (im sure you have though) and was wondering if they are at all available locally...? It's very similar to the lansky one but much better and more stable with nice large stones.

I would post a link but this is from my phone.

Let me hear your thoughts :)

Wow! I would take a system like that in a flash if they were available locally. Very nice indeed! Angle can be adjusted to any width blade. I want!
Lansky is ok, but this is better!

    I have one.

Not available locally and more expensive than Lansky and Gatco.

The way the system works (the way the blade is set and retained at the desired angle) may result in scratches on the blade. Incredible results.

I do not like the Lansky because the stones are narrow.

The Gatco is my my choice over the Lansky and it is the system I use most to re-cut my knives to a 40 degree incl edge. I use the 40 degree edge so that I can easily touch up the blade on a Spyderco Sharpmaker.

I think it was one of your posts that led me to the edgepro in the first place :) I find the lansky very average and not suitable at all on larger blades.

The gatco looks very similar to the lansky, you reckon it's better....? And the gatco compared to the edgepro...?

GATCO is quicker to set up. It has wider stones than the Lansky

EDGE PRO is better. There is no hand sharpening system that I know of that is better or more versatile!
