    Hi all,

    Doesn anyone know if there are any Speer Gold Dot .40 SW ammo availble in Gauteng gun shops?

    Or for that matter, something decent for SD? I am struglling to get Gold Dot or even Barnes or something similar.

    Last I checked Southern Arms had a fair amount of the 165gr Gold Dot.

    Thanks, I will give them a call.

    Was at the one Jhb guns shop yseterday, say they have been waiting for a year now for Gold Dot, no luck yet.

    9mm hollow points are about as common as rocking horse shyte at the moment. .40 is a bit easier to find.

    Yip. There's a few boxes left, buy what you can, I don't they will be available at the current price when the new batch comes in.

    At a pinch the PMP 180gr is probably good enough.
    Bad design helped by momentum.

    Bad design is right. Not to mentioned underloaded. I would rather carry decent factory ball, pref. 165gr if I could find it, over 180gr PMP JHP.
