    Default Trip to Canada.

Our Canadian agent also happens to be the agent for Weatherby in Canada, this year we sponsored a 10 day hunting package as part of a raffle prize at the Big Rock Trade Show in Toronto. Also included in the prize was a Weatherby mark 5 rifle complete with a scope, sponsored by Weatherby. I was invited to the show to give a presentation on our reserve and the role of hunting in conservation.

This gave me the opportunity to spend two days at the Weatherby booth at the show and also a side trip to British Columbia. Never having been to Canada, I was really impressed with the country and its people.

This trip gave me the opportunity to:

Spend a seemingly never ending amount of time on planes and in airports (not the most pleasant part of any journey).

Spend two days in the Weatherby booth.

    See a bighorn sheep:

    Walk 6km's in snow shoes.

    Braai in the snow.

And sample some of the local beers :)

I also managed to lose my luggage somewhere between Toronto and OR Tambo...

1: They should be honored to have you there.
2: Don't kill all their stuff.
    3: Fly our flag high.

4: Who needs luggage when you have beer?

Luckily, I lost the luggage on the way back :) But, yes, I agree.

We really enjoy travelling abroad although it has been a few years since we had the last occasion.

Thus very jealous and glad for you at the same time.

It went very well. I have to admit that I was more than a little nervous beforehand, I don't often speak in front of a crowd of people.
